You should contact Sawmill Creek. If the wine maker you are talking about is the Ontario wine maker then they are located in the Niagara Region and you could give them a call.
The reason they are telling you on the label that the wine is made of domestic and imported grapes is because of the VQA designation in Ontario. If you buy bottles that have that designation on it I believe they have to be made from 100% Ontario grapes.
sawmill creek is a blended wine, but the majority of the grapes used are merlot. There are many different varietals in chile, so its not the region that is causing you problems, but possibly the variety of grape used.
However…what I really think is causing your problems is the sulfites used to accelerate the winemaking process- a lot of people can get an allergic reaction or congestion. I recommend finding some wines made without sulfites (they have to disclose on the label- usually on the back in very tiny print). Organic wines are a good option for you too, but there aren’t a lot of choices.
There is Red wine from Brazil .
You are probably allergic to sulfites used to accelerate the winemaking process-, not from a grape from Chile or Brazil.
I think Sawmill is made in British Columbia in Canada
